The Forgotten Podcast is TFI's weekly show for the foster care community: honest conversations with foster parents, advocates, and ministry leaders. I owned the production pipeline end to end.
The Challenge
A weekly show is a promise. Listeners in the foster care community rely on consistency, and the show had to sound professional while being produced by a lean nonprofit team on a nonprofit budget.
The Approach
I built a repeatable production system: episode strategy and guest preparation up front, a tight recording and editing workflow in the middle, and distribution, show notes, and promotion on the back end. Cover art, audiograms, and email tie-ins kept every episode working across the rest of our channels.
The Outcome
Hundreds of episodes shipped on schedule, a growing subscriber base, and a show that became one of TFI's most trusted front doors for new advocates entering the ministry.
